Community Overview
One of South Florida's most established private club communities, BallenIsles offers three championship courses, extensive amenities, and a storied golf tradition.
BallenIsles Country Club is one of Palm Beach Gardens' most storied private clubs. The community is home to 1,575 residences across 33 distinctive neighborhoods, organized around three championship courses — the East (Dick Wilson & Joe Lee, 1963, redesigned by Keith Foster in 2008), North, and South. The grounds were originally home to PGA National Golf Club from 1964 to 1973 (commissioned by John D. MacArthur), and continued as JDM Country Club before being renamed BallenIsles in 1989. Beyond golf, the club is anchored by a tennis facility ranked among the nation's top private clubs: 22 Har-Tru clay courts and 2 hard courts, stadium-style seating for 500, plus pickleball. Members enjoy a full sports complex, fitness center, resort-style and Junior Olympic lap pools, walking trails, multiple casual and fine dining venues, and a full-service spa. The community is fully gated, and membership is required to purchase.
